COLOR
Diamonds are graded on a color scale of D through Z, based on the degree to which the diamond approaches colorlessness. Diamonds graded D, E, and F are considered colorless. They are the rarest, and therefore the most valuable.
Nature has also created diamonds in shades of blue, green, yellow, orange, pink or – rarest of all – red. These diamonds are called ‘fancy’ colored and are extremely rare and highly treasured. Their quality is judged by the intensity of the hue, and unlike white diamonds, the more color, the rarer.
